Behind the Scenes: Photographing LancGoods' Deluxe Holiday Gift Box
I recently had the opportunity to photograph the Deluxe Holiday Tree Edition gift box, part of LancGoods' 2024 holiday collection. As someone who has partnered with LancGoods for several years now, capturing their beautiful, handcrafted collections is always a highlight of my work. Their attention to detail and locally sourced products make these projects a true creative joy.

Bringing the Vision to Life
My goal with this project was to capture the textures, tones, and thoughtful details that make this gift box so special. Using a clean, minimal backdrop and a focus on natural lighting, I wanted to let the products shine while maintaining the cozy, festive feeling of the holiday season.
Key Elements I Focused On:
Layering Products: For several shots, I played with composition to highlight the box's layers, showing how each product fits together perfectly.
Hero Shots: I gave individual attention to standout items like the candle and ceramic dish, emphasizing their textures and craftsmanship.
Natural Elements: I incorporated ribbon, wooden boards, and clean/simple surfaces to complement the organic feel of the box.
